Crystal Clear: An Evening with Eric LeMarque
(Lecture)
Come and hear the inspiring story of how former NMU, professional, and Olympic hockey player and expert snowboarder, Eric LeMarque, lost his legs due to crystal meth and found a better life. Eric set off for the top of 12,000-foot Mammoth Mountain in California and survived eight days in sub-freezing temperatures where he earned the name, "The Miracle Man" by stunned National Black Hawk chopper rescuers. His survival is that of adversity, change, ingenuity, perseverance, spiritual restoration, and ultimate triumph. A copy of his book, Crystal Clear, is available from the NMU Bookstore.
