Our guest speaker will be Colonel Erich Randall Colonel Erich W. Randall is the Garrison Commander at Camp Grayling Joint Maneuver Training Center, Camp Grayling, Michigan. Colonel Randall's military education includes the Army War College Senior Service College Fellowship at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, Joint Combined War Fighting Course, Command and General Staff College, Combined Arms and Services Staff School, and Infantry Officer Basic and Advanced Courses. Colonel Randall also holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Interpersonal and Public Communication, a Master of Science in Administration Management both from Central Michigan University, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Organizational Leadership from Capella University.
Colonel Randall began his career in 1986 as an enlisted Soldier serving in the 3rd Squadron, 4th Cavalry, 25th Infantry Division. He received his commission from Central Michigan University ROTC in 1989 as Second Lieutenant. His first assignment as an officer was with Company C, 3d Bn 126th Infantry, Michigan Army National Guard in Wyoming, MI, where he served as Rifle Platoon Leader. Colonel Randall's other notable assignments include: Commander of B/3-126 Infantry in Holland, MI; Executive Officer of the 3/11 IN (OCS) at Ft Benning, GA; Strategic Plans Officer for US Central Command in Tampa, FL and Qatar; Strategic Plans Officer in the office of the Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff, Pentagon; and most recently as Chief, Strategic Initiatives Group, Office of the Chief of the National Guard Bureau, Pentagon.
