Lake Effect Show Choir - 'singing and dancing up a storm!'

On April 23 and 24, Lake Effect Show Choir (an all-weather ensemble) will be singing and dancing up a storm! come and join us for a fun-filled night of musical entertainment complimented by a tasty selection of warm appetizers, chilled desserts and both hot and cold beverages. the food is guaranteed to be delicious and the talents of Lake Effect Show Choir (both the full ensemble and featured soloists) are sure to absolutely delight you.

The cost for the concert is $15. Ticket sales will begin on April 1, and all tickets must be purchased by April 21 at either Forsberg Flowers or the NMU Music Office (227-2563). As usual, the seating is determined by the order in which the tickets are the best seats will go to those who buy theirs early.

In case you haven't already guessed, we are using a weather-related theme this year...Musical selections include, Here comes the Sun, Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In, Singin' in the Rain, Don't Rain on My Parade, Let It Snow, Frosty the Snowman, and of course the theme song of this past winter...Baby It's Cold Outside. In additon, we will feature songs by the rock group who "took America by storm" 50 years ago...can you guess who? Finally, we will do a couple of selections from the new animated movie, Frozen.

The evening forecast is for a flurry of fun, and hot, Hot, HOT performances from a warm-hearted Lake Effect Show Choir. After enjoying voices that are as pure as the driven snow and a whirlwind of cool dance moves, you will most definitely leave the concert with a sunny disposition, and that is not just a lot of hot air. After all, there's "snow" business like show business!

Whether the weather is nice or not, Lake Effect Show Choir will definitely give it all they've got. SO, chill out, throw caution to the wind, and plan to venture out to enjoy the musical talents of this very cool, all-weather group...Hope to see you there!
