Iyad Burnat is a founding member of the Non-Violent Popular Committee in Bil'in, West Bank (Palestine). His group is joined by international peace advocates in weekly demonstrations against the Israeli separation wall, which cuts through the community's agricultural lands, and against the steady encroachment of illegal settlements. During his 26-city-U.S. tour, Iyad will speak about strategies for non-violent popular resistance with a goal of peace for all people. The demonstrations in Bil'in are the subject of the recent award-winning documentary film, 5 Broken Cameras.
