Registration and Information

The 2013 CPE Seminar Series will provide participants with 4 credits of continuing professional education units per course*. Register early as class sizes are limited. Registrations are transferable within a firm. If your firm registers for any full days, different people may attend each half day; however, two separate half days do not constitute one full day of enrollment. Fees (below) are determined on a cost plus basis. Therefore, NMU reserves the right to cancel a seminar if the minimum enrollment is not met and issue full refunds or transfers to another session at the registrant's option. Below is a list of the seminars offered. Detail, including descriptions and instructors, will be posted as they become available.

$100 1 Session (4 CPE Credits)
$190 2 Sessions (8 CPE Credits)
$270 3 Sessions (12 CPE Credits)

Four or more sessions will be $85 per session.

Sessions Offered

All AM sessions run from 8:30 a.m. until noon unless otherwise indicated.

All PM sessions run from 1:00 until 4:30 p.m.

All course sessions will be held in the Charcoal Room of the University Center with the exception of the QuickBooks class, which will be held at 412 Cohodas Hall.

**Class size will be limited to 14.

*CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION (CPE) UNITS
As applicable, these programs fulfill the Continuing Professional Education Requirements of State Boards of Accountancy for accountants and auditors, and (Federal) enrolled agents as well as the Independent Accountants Association of Michigan. The NMU courses are in compliance with the Michigan State Board of Accountancy's CPE requirements of qualified instructors, subject area and record keeping, including the requirement that states to receive one-hour CPE credit, the registrant must be in attendance 50 minutes. A Certificate of Attendance will be provided for hours attended.
