NE 431 Management Concepts in Nursing (Theory)
Offered: Fall, Winter
Co-requisite: NE 006 NCLEX RN Review Course (RNs are exempt). Taken concurrently with NE 432 and NE 435.
Prerequisite: NE 420, NE 421 and NE 422.
The primary focus is to provide the requisite knowledge and skills for development of the leader/manager roles including provider, collaborator and coordinator. Focus is on the competencies needed in the delivery of care and to those needed to function within the organizational structure of clinical and community settings.
