AD 335 History of Baroque Art

Prerequisite: EN 211 with a "C" or better and junior standing.
Analysis of European art from 1600 to 1750, including examples of painting, sculpture, architecture, tapestries and prints, though the emphasis is on painting. The art will be analyzed in relation to social and philosophical contexts.
