Course Description
NE 420 Community Health Nursing and Continuity or Care (Theory)
4 cr.
Offered: Fall, Winter
Co-requisite: NE 007 Community Health (RNs are not exempt), NE 001 Exit Exam (RNs are exempt), NE 010 Pharmacology, NE 421, NE 422.
Prerequisite: NE 371 and NE 372, NE 381 and NE 382.
The focus is the use of the nursing process in the care of health aggregates to provide seamless care. Public health nursing principles are applied to promote desired health outcomes in community and home environments.
