Course Description
NU 331 Nursing Care of Children/Adolescents (Theory)
4 cr. (4-0-0)
Offered: Fall, Winter
Co-requisite: NU 005 Pediatric, NU 321/322, NU 332, NU 341.
Prerequisite: NU 301/302.
Focus on the nursing care of children and family units ranging from infancy through adolescence. The foundations of pediatric care, including growth and development, family theory, anticipatory guidance and care of the child with simple and complex health care needs are presented.
