Stress is placed on learning the basic concepts of algebra, use of formulas, the metric system, powers and roots of numbers and calculator use. Includes an introduction to geometry. This course is intended to serve students in certificate and degree programs that do not possess the skills necessary to succeed in MA 090, Elementary Algebra.
