EN 462 Literature for Young Adults
3-4 cr.
Offered: Every other year.
Prerequisite: Junior standing or instructor's permission. Cross listed as ED 462.

A comprehensive study of books for young adults, designed for secondary school teachers. Needs and interests of adolescents are studied along with selection principles to fiction and nonfiction of all types. Emphasis is placed on developmental reading for the accelerated, the average and the reluctant student.

Note: Available for an additional research credit; students must be registered for the three-credit course before signing up for the additional credit. This additional credit must be added separately.
