EN 362 Studies in Genre, Narrative
3-4 cr.

Prerequisite: EN 282 or EN 283 or EN 284.

A study of the characteristics that define this varied genre in history. The class provides students with a complex historical knowledge of narrative from the epic to the novel, with emphasis on the novel, the short story and theories of narrative.

Note: Available for an additional research credit; students must be registered for the three-credit course before signing up for the additional credit. This additional credit must be added separately.
