Course Description
CLS 472 PCR Analysis
5 cr.
Offered: Fall, Winter
Prerequisite: Students must achieve a “B” or better in CH 454 and a grade of “C” or better in all other major courses. Completion of the pre-clinical courses in the diagnostics genetics curriculum and acceptance by an affiliated clinical agency. Junior standing or instructor’s permission.
This course is part of an intense, six-month, full-time practicum in an affiliated full-service laboratory under supervision of appropriately credentialed molecular biology technology professionals. Includes practical experience and theoretical principles in areas described by CLS 250G, CLS 470, CLS 471, CLS 472 and CLS 473.
