Advisor: Dr. Jacqueline Bird, 2119 NSF
Organization Website: http://myweb.nmu.edu/~prevet/home.htm
Prevet CLub Organization Email: prevet@nmu.edu
Mission Statement: The Pre-Vet club is an organization on campus that is open to all students who have an interest in animal science. Our main objective this year is to broaden our horizons in the areas of animal related fields. To do this we plan on having guest speakers come to campus. Other things we have planned this year is to try to visit a zoo and we are hoping to do more community service activities as well. The club is under new leadership this year so come and check it out for yourself. We are always looking for new members and would love to see you at one of our meetings. For more information email Jessica Roberts at jessrobe@nmu.edu or Kristina Sterup at ksterup@nmu.edu or Leah Schuman at lschuman@nmu.edu.
Activities:

  1. Volunteer for UP 200
  2. Field trips to local farms
  3. Bake Sales
  4. Guest Speakers
