The Biology Department at Northern Michigan University invites applications for a tenure-earning faculty position at the Assistant Professor level beginning August 2013. The position requires a Ph.D. or equivalent. We seek a neuroscientist committed to teaching and scholarship with an active research program that can involve undergraduate and graduate students. Teaching responsibilities may include cell and molecular biology, physiology of aging, advanced cell biology, introductory biology and courses in toxicology or other area of specialization.

We seek an anatomist or physiologist committed to teaching with an active interest in undergraduate education. Teaching responsibilities include human anatomy and physiology, human anatomy, and human physiology.
