Advisor: Dr. John Rebers Beta Beta Beta (Tri-Beta) is a society for students, particularly undergraduates, dedicated to improving the understanding and appreciation of biological study and extending boundaries of human knowledge through scientific research. Since its founding in 1922, more than 175,000 persons have been accepted into lifetime membership, and more than 430 chapters have been established throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. |

Activities: Campus and Community cleanups, Make a Difference Day, participating in the Earth Day celebration, volunteering at the Haunted Bog Walk at the Moosewood Nature Center, helping with the UP 200, helping sponsor events on campus and engage NMU’s student body to become involved in science. Eligible students must: have completed 3 biology courses, have sophomore standing with an Average GPA of 3.0 (in both the sciences and overall GPA) |
