Through interactive video, Professor David Lucas will host a 40 – 50 minute discussion on how a degree in physics can lead to a career path in Science and Technology. Topics include the broad spectrum of industries and agencies recruiting those with a background in physics, desired academic preparation, academic programs, placement rate, graduate programs, current demand, projected growth, salary expectations, facilities and more. Your students will have the opportunity to interview and discuss topics with a student currently enrolled in the program. We encourage a high degree of interaction through comment and questions from students. Upon request, an Admissions or Financial Aid counselor will attend.
Scheduling can be flexible, meeting a particular date and time for a school, or fixed, with an open invitation out to schools to attend on a particular date and time. One to three classrooms may attend any single presentation. Depending on demand and availability, individual sessions may be presented only once or several times a semester. No cost to Michigan schools. Please contact us by e-mail or phone: 906-227-2912
