The Upper Peninsula Bibliography is the product of years of compiling by the Director of the Center for Upper Peninsula Studies, Russell M. Magnaghi. The extensive bibliography is topical, and is designed to guide researchers interested in particular subjects related to the rich history of the Upper Peninsula.
Russell M. Magnaghi, professor of history and university historian, students and interns compiled facts from 1899-1999 into an encyclopedia that describes Northern. Arranged topically, the encyclopedia chronicles the Northern community and documents its rich heritage. It is a great reference of the people, places and events important to NMU’s development.
