Former NMU & NHL hockey player shares survival story
Monday November 2nd; 7:30pm in the Great Lakes Rooms
Platform Personalities would like to invite you to "Crystal Clear: An Evening with Eric Le Marque." Le Marque is a former Olympic, professional, and NMU hockey player and expert snowboarder. In 2002, Le Marque went for a snowboard run on 12,000 foot Mammoth Mountain in California where he battled sub-freezing temperatures and warded off wild coyotes for 8 days before being rescued by Nation Black Hawk chopper rescues on a body recovery mission. As a result, this exceptional athlete was forced to lose both of his legs to gangrene infection. Le Marque will speak this Monday, Novemeber 2nd at 7:30pm in the Great Lakes rooms of the UC. The event is free to NMU students with student IDs and just $2 for general public.
Brought by Platform Personalities and your Student Activity fee.
