Kelly is an assistant county attorney in Fillmore County, Minn. She previously served as a law clerk for the Hon. L. W. Yost and Hon. Terry M. Dempsey.  Kelly graduated from NMU in 1998 with a BS in political science.  She received her law degree from Hamline University, School of Law, in 2001.  Kelly is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and 10th District Bar Association.  She is president of the Chatfield Lions Club and chair of Chatfield Western Days.
