View from the 6th floor!

Summer has returned to NMU just as students are returning to campus to start the fall 2013 semester. Nothing but blue skies shine over the Marquette area today with the outline of the new Jamrich building starting to show (center right) from the 6th floor view. A live feed of the Jamrich progress can be seen here.

The Alumni Relations office has a new view from the 6th floor. We have moved down the hall to 607 Cohodas Hall, take a right out of the elevator. Make sure to stop by and say hello.

Staying Wild: Homecoming Special

NMU Homecoming 2013 is just around the corner. The schedule is jam-packed, September 20 & 21, full of activities, reunions and games. Students, alumni and community members all have ways to participate. This year includes the 50th reunion of classes '62, 63, '64 and the alumni returning are looking forward to reminiscing. There is also the return of the NMU Game Day Community Block Party on Third Street. Last year's 'Game Day' was a little wet, but that did not dampen any spirits. Below you can find links to the full schedule of events and activities taking place over the Homecoming weekend. Downloadable posters of 'Game Day' and the alumni schedule are available for your convenience.

Thanks to all of you who have visited the Alumni Office while on campus. Whenever you’re in town, please drop by 607 Cohodas Hall to say hello.  (You don’t have to be visiting. For those of you who live in Marquette, we want to see you too!  Please stop in.)  If you can’t get to campus because you’re off exploring the world, be sure to send us a photo of you wearing your favorite Wildcat gear so we can share it with other alumni.
