View from the 6th floor!
The Alumni Relations office has a new view from the 6th floor. We have moved down the hall to 607 Cohodas Hall, take a right out of the elevator. Make sure to stop by and say hello.
It feels a bit more like spring. Rain showers have popped up throughout the area the last few days and are expected to continue. The rain has helped the trees fill out with full green foliage giving a freshness to campus.
With Memorial Day, now behind us, it is time to firm up your plans and attend one of the great events hosted or promoted by the NMU Alumni Association. Some events you can drop by and other need RSVP's. Below is a listing of the great events happening that are available for NMU alumni. Dispersed throughout are pictures of past events, reunions and outings.
We hope you will be able to join us at one or all of the events and show your Wildcat spirit. If over the summer you end up at an impromptu alumni gathering a planned event please share your experience with us (including a picture) at email@example.com.
Wildcat golf outing.
Wildcat Fans Encouraged to Come Out to the Course to Support NMU Football!
The annual NMU Wildcat Football Golf Classic will be held on Friday, June 21, 2013 at the NMU Golf Course. This 18-hole, scramble format event is held each year to raise support for the NMU football program. This year, the Wildcat Football Golf Classic will help raise money to purchase critical safety gear (e.g., helmets, shoulder pads, knee braces, etc.) to help protect the players as they represent NMU on the field.
Put together your four-person team, get out on the driving range to tune your game, and register your team today to support our NMU Wildcat football players. More information about the golf outing, including how to register your team, can be found at www.nmu.edu/golfclassic. You may also email John B. Frick ’82, ’87 at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.

Visitation to the 6th floor has been a bit slow these last few weeks. Wildcat Willy would love to share the spotlight and see how you show your Wildcat spirit.
Thanks to all of you who have visited the Alumni Office while on campus. Whenever you’re in town, please drop by 607 Cohodas Hall to say hello. (You don’t have to be visiting - for those of you who live in Marquette, we want to see you too! Please stop in.) If you can’t get to campus but you’re off exploring the world, be sure to send us a photo of you wearing your favorite Wildcat gear so we can share it with other alumni.
