Average temperatures in late June range from a low of 50s to a high of 73 degrees. Days are often pleasant and nights are cool, so bring a variety of clothes that can be layered. While the average summer temperature of Lake Superior is a stiff 40 degrees, some brave souls may wish to pack a swimsuit for a refreshing plunge along our miles of sandy beaches. You may want to pack comfortable walking or running shoes as well, to enjoy the city’s 12 miles of biking/walking paths or a walk around scenic Presque Isle.
