Ron is a teacher at Gus Harrison Correctional Facility. Ron is a two-time graduate, earning degrees in social studies and math and elementary education. While at NMU, he served as a resident advisor and participated in the Student Leader Fellowship Program and Ebony Excellence. Ron is a member of the Black Male Educators Alliance of Michigan (BMEA), a collective of educators, mentors, community leaders, and other professionals who partner to increase the number of effective black male educators to improve the educational experiences for urban children. Ron also tutors immigrants on the English language in the Adrian area.
