Decide on a Test Date

Most college-bound students take the SAT or ACT during the spring of their junior year or at the beginning of their senior year. Northern Michigan University does not have a preference which test date you choose. However, if you plan to take both, taking them during your junior year is advisable. Then, when you determine which you scored higher on, you can retake that test in hopes of raising your score.
