AWARD PROGRAMS

Under the umbrella of the Academic Affairs Division, there are four faculty award programs offered each year (see below).  The Distinguished Faculty Award recipients are recognized at the May Commencement, and the recipients of the other three awards are recognized during the Celebration of Scholarship Ceremony in December.

Distinguished Faculty Award (DFA)

• To recognize and honor full-time faculty, including academic department heads, who have made significant professional contributions to Northern Michigan University and their professional areas.
