Katy Morrison

Katy joined the Academic and Career Advisement Center in January 2011.  She is responsible for tutoring services in the Jacobetti Complex and working with the College Transitions Program.  Katy graduated from NMU with a bachelor of science in entertainment and sports promotion and a master of public administration in public management.  While pursuing her master's degree, she was a graduate assistant in the Center for Student Enrichment.

Upon completing her graduate program, Katy worked at Michigan Works! as a Career Counselor for two years before returning to NMU.  She is a mentor in the Student Leader Fellowship Program and a member of One Book, One Community.

While Katy is not at work she is spending time with her husband, Chris and their two dogs, Abbey and Bailey.
