Michele Stephenson

Michele graduated from NMU in 1989 with a bachelor of science in outdoor recreation leadership and management. She spent the next nine years working with young people in challenge and leadership programs around the country. In 1998 Michele returned to NMU and began working at the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreational Sports. She was the coordinator for adventures and growth challenge program then the assistant facility manager of the Superior Dome.

Michele joined the ACAC staff in February 2008. She and her husband, Scott, live in Marquette with their two daughters Carly Jo and Jordann. Favorite past times include canoeing, biking, cross-country skiing and “night sky” gazing.
