Kia Jane Richmond (English) presented "Supervising Student Teachers in English Language Arts" at the Wisconsin Council of Teachers of English Convention in Delafield, Wis. Drawing upon research from English and education, and upon her own experiences as a university supervisor working with cooperating teachers and student teachers throughout the Upper Peninsula and eastern Wisconsin, Richmond shared strategies, resources and communication techniques to help teachers successfully mentor novice teachers in English Language Arts.
