Achievements

Beverly Matherne (English) was one of eight writers whose work was the subject of a course titled "The Other Half of the Sky: Eight Women Writers" at Swansea University in Wales. The course was taught by Welsh poet Peter Thabit Jones, who said he chose writers "whose work I know and love and will inspire and resonate with students." It also covered work by Edna St.Vincent Millay and Maria Mazziotti Gillan.
