NMU student-athletes and Phyllis Wong teamed with children from Big Brothers Big Sisters and Marquette County Habitat for Humanity this week to build and decorate gingerbread houses. These holiday decorations will be displayed at upcoming events and online as a silent auction to benefit Marquette County Habitat for Humanity. "Gingerbread house building and decorating was a Wong family tradition and we're thrilled we can include Wildcat student-athletes in bringing this tradition to NMU's family in a way that benefits Habitat for Humanity--a philanthropy the Wongs have been happy to support," said Anne Stark (Communications and Marketing), coordinator.
