Achievements

The NMU Board of Trustees approved faculty promotions and tenure at its May 1 meeting. All go into effect Aug. 19.

The following faculty members were promoted to the rank of full professor:  

     Daric Christian (Art and Design)

     Lisa Flood (Nursing)

     Jill Leonard (Biology)

     Dave Rayome (Business)

     Kristi Robinia (Practical Nursing)

     Mary Jane Tremethick (HPER)

     Greg Warchol (Criminal Justice)

The following faculty members were promoted to the rank of associate professor:

     Adam Prus (Psychology)

     Stephen Smith (Mathematics and Computer Science)

     Qinghong Zhang (Mathematics and Computer Science)

The following faculty members were promoted to the rank of assistant professor:

     Richard Eathorne (Geography)

The following faculty members were granted tenure:

     Michelle Johnson (Practical Nursing)

     Qinghong Zhang (Mathematics and Computer Science)
