Russell Thorburn (English) has published his third full-length book of poetry, The Whole Tree as Told to the Backyard, with Rocky Shore Books. Also, his poem, “Her Hair with Its Own Voice Wisps Across My Face” has been published by Bateau Press.

Undergraduate health majors Kady Adams, Ashley Bollwahn and Nicole Weber published an article titled “Promoting healthy lifestyles for Marquette County seniors: An intergenerational service-learning project financed by a MAHPERD Grant.” It appeared in the Michigan Association for Health Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance Journal. The students completed the service-learning project under the direction of Mary Jane Tremethick and Patricia Hogan (HPER).

Ajani Burrell’s (English) short story, “The Cigarette,” was published in the fall issue of Fiction Weekly.
