Neil Cumberlidge (Biology) recently published an article in the African Journal of Ecology titled "A Conservation Assessment of the Freshwater Crabs of Southern Africa (Brachyura: Potamonautidae)." Cumberlidge was first author and S. R. Daniels, a molecular biologist from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa, was co-author. Their collaboration arose out of a workshop on freshwater ecosystem conservation organized by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature held in Cape Town in 2006.


Marek Haltof (English) published a text titled "Adapting the National Literary Canon: Polish Heritage Cinema" in Canadian Revue of Comparative Literature/Revue Canadienne de Littérature Comparée.

Beverly Matherne (English) has two poems in Greenhouse, from May Apple Press, 2008, an anthology celebrating the first five years of the Rustbelt Roethke Writers’ Workshop. She also is among more than 170 poets featured in A Cadence of Hooves: A Celebration of Horses, a 600-page anthology of poetry from Yarrow Mountain Press, 2008.
