Kerri Schuiling (Nursing) co-authored "Developing Midwifery Knowledge: Setting a Research Agenda," which was published in the March/April 2007 issue of the Journal of Midwifery and Women's Health. The data-based article describes the process of establishing an agenda for the American College of Nurse Midwives that fosters research that will make a difference in women's health care and the profession of midwifery.

Russ Thorburn (English) launched his book of poetry titled “Father, Tell Me I Have Not Aged” on April 27 in Grosse Pointe, Mich. His book is a memoir in verse that draws on his childhood, love, loss and French films.

G. J. Zalmai (Mathematics and Computer Science) had a paper published in a recent Journal of Applied Mathematics and Computing. The paper was titled "Global Parametric Sufficient Optimality Conditions for Discrete Minmax Fractional Programming Problems Containing Generalized (theta, eta, rho)-V-Invex Functions and Arbitrary Norms."
