Presentations

Kia Richmond (English) gave two presentations during the annual conference of the National Council of Teachers of English in Nashville, Tenn., in November. She discussed "Multiple Benefits of Multi-Modal Responses" on a panel titled "Constructing and Negotiating (Multiple) Literacies Across the Curriculum." She also presented "Teacher, Know Thyself: Making Meaning from Psychological Theories through Writing" during an all-day workshop titled "We Teach Who We Are: Cultivating the True Self of the Teacher."
