Grant Writer Offers Workshops

 

Deborah Ward, a nationally recognized proposal-writing consultant for education and non-profit clients, will present three workshops on Tuesday, Nov. 8, in the Ontario Room of the University Center. The schedule is as follows: “Project Development and Funding Sources” from noon to 2:30 p.m.; “Writing the Proposal Narrative” from 3-5:30 p.m.; and “Developing the Budget” from 7-9 p.m. Refreshments will be served.


Ward’s services include project development, prospect research (government and private sector), RFP analysis, writing and editing of proposals, proposal submission, and evaluation of grants programs. She teaches grant-seeking and proposal-writing workshops across the United States, speaks at conferences and seminars, and is a frequent contributor to national magazines and news services. Her clients include school districts, education service agencies, foundations, higher education institutions and non-profit organizations. Ward’s book, Writing Grant Proposals that Win, will be published in 2006.
