Shown standing are (from left) Kathy Saville (Instructional Technology), David Helton (Business) and Carol Steinhaus (Business). Helton said the conference "featured ample opportunities to interact personally with outstanding national speakers. Several presentations on research in the area of learning were particularly impressive because they shifted the emphasis away from teacher performance to student learning. After all, the main focus of the university should be upon the student."
Saville was honored for her work in helping to plan the conference each year. Faculty who gave presentations, and their respective topics, were as follows: Powers, "Online Testing"; Tremethick and Hogan, "Can You Picture It?
