Library Joins Celebration

Olson Library is recognizing National Library Week April 10-16 with various activities. This year's theme is "Something for everyone @ your library."

There will be a Read-In from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 12. People from various areas of the campus community will read their favorite books in the library that day.

"We hope to paint a visual picture of the importance books and reading play at NMU," said Liz Oesleby (AIS).

On Wednesday, April 13, the library will celebrate National Library Workers Day. Oesleby said it will focus on the people behind the scenes who process interlibrary loans, order books, shelve books and so on.

There will be a drawing for a "Read" t-shirt on Thursday.
