Goodrich (History) attended
the annual Michigan Honors Association Conference in Roscommon.
Goodrich, director of the NMU Honors Program, was selected by the
board as the officer in charge of revising the MHA constitution.
Alicia McCauley, an Honors Program freshman, also attended the conference
and was elected a student representative to the state board—a first
six winners from the second week of the “Celebrate Wellness” program
are: Beverly Evans (Library/Circulation), June
Nelson (Human Resources), John Limback
(Academic Computing), Rick Parmenter (Plant Operations),
Sue Young (Criminal Justice) and Tom Olson
(Plant Operations). Each received a $20 gift certificate
to Johnson’s Sport Shop.
winners from the third week of the “Celebrate Wellness” program
are: Rachel Harris (Student Activities), Muriel
Kangas (Education), Mary Tallio (Financial
Aid), Louise Bourgault (Communication and Performance
Studies), Kelly Dore (Seaborg Center) and Cathy
Niemi (Finance and Administration). Each received a $25
gift certificate to Getz’s.
