Timothy Compton (Modern Languages and Literatures) translated Peruvian Traditions: Ricardo Palma's Latin American Historic and Folkloric Tales into English from Spanish. He worked collaboratively with his father, Merlin, a retired professor of Spanish at Brigham Young University. The book also features ink sketches by Compton's mother, Avon, which she completed when the family lived in Peru. The book was published by Authorhouse.

An article by Thomas Stanger (Counseling and Consultation Services) titled, "Marathon Group Therapy: Potential for University Counseling Centers and Beyond," was published in the Journal for Specialists in Group Work. Stanger also presented the paper at the Association for University and College Counseling Center Directors' (AUCCCD) annual conference.
