The Veteran Student Services Office assists veterans, servicemen, dependents and reservists who are currently enrolled or prospective students. Services include:

• Interpreting the application of Veteran Affairs (VA) regulations.
• Advising of entitlement under federal and state law.
• Preparing and transmitting records, all VA documents, which certify VA students for monthly benefits.
• Processing advance payment checks.
• Providing information to VA assisted students needing financial and academic assistance.
• Answering routine inquiries and referring students to the proper university and governmental agencies.
• Composing memoranda to the Financial Aid Office to verify the benefits received by veteran students.
• Consulting with staff and responding to inquiries from various VA regional offices concerning student VA-related problems.
• Notifying the appropriate VA regional office of all changes as required by law.
