Student Support Services

If so, the Student Support Services program may be for you.

The Student Support Services program is committed to helping you achieve your educational goals. Additionally, our goal is to achieve increased retention and graduation of our participants. The professional staff at SSS provides assistance to students who are completing academic programs at Northern Michigan University. Participants in the program have the opportunity to:

  • Receive one to one academic and personal advisement on a regular basis;
  • Receive individualized tutoring and related academic support services;
  • Have access to peer mentoring;
  • Receive assistance with the adjustment to university life;
  • Have access to social and cultural events.
