Residence Hall Life At NMU

With summer orientation sessions winding down (the final one begins August 20th) new Northern students will soon be turning their attention to packing for the big move to campus! Residence hall and roommate assignments (in most cases) are made in early August. Contacting your assigned roommate is always a good idea to make sure your room will have everything you need. To help with that, check out the What to Bring to NMU list, and while you are there, check out the residence hall links on the left side of the screen. Not coming this fall but considering NMU for a future term? Check out the Life at NMU link to see how housing fits in with all the other on-and-off campus activities!

I'm coming to NMU!
Hannah Bilodeau from Green Bay, WI is coming to NMU -- are you? She is looking forward to "furthering my education in an environment as exciting as NMU.  I can't wait to sit by the lake at Presque Isle Park and enjoy the fall colors.  And I'm more than ready to hit the slopes once the snow begins to fall.  The endless co-curricular activities have also caught my eye, such as Superior Edge, Model United Nations, and the Study Abroad Program."  Tell us what you are most looking forward to at Northern and e-mail your name and hometown with your picture to admiss@nmu.edu.
