Meet an admissions counselor

Joanne Chalgren is an assistant director who works with freshmen in the states of Minnesota and California. She loves meeting new students and sharing her passion for NMU with them. She grew up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan just 20 minutes away from Marquette but now resides in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. In her free time Joanne enjoys reading, golfing, playing cards and spending time with her growing family.
